Bob & Sharon Weigman were married in 1981 at St. Paul Gar Creek Church. Bob graduated in ’68 from Hoagland High School and Sharon in “66 from New Haven High School. They live in Bob’s childhood home which his grandfather and grandmother built in 1914. They are currently seeking the 150 Homestead Award for their family’s farmland that Bob * Sharon’s house resides on.
Bob retired from Hall Aluminum in 2015 and Sharon from Do It Best Corp. in 2014. They were blessed with four children; LeAnn DunaZay (Joe), April Ottinger, Mark Melcher, and Kendra Doerr (Tim); seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, whom they love spending time with! They also enjoy relaxing at their Crooked Lake cottage and gardening in their every-growing (but supposed to be shrinking) garden! Bob also spends some of his free time farming around the Hoagland area.
Both Bob & Sharon have been active members in the Hoagland community. They have worked and chaired many years for the Octoberfest event, as well as the pancake and sausage breakfast. They often found themselves volunteering for multiple other community activities too!
