The Village of Hoagland
The village of Hoagland was established in 1872. Located along the original Wayne Trace in northeast Indiana it is just southeast of Fort Wayne, Indiana and just a hop, skip and a jump east of Highway 27. Its population is approximately 2000.
Hoagland Area Advancement Association – HAAA
The purpose of the Association is to encourage improvement and to develop and advance the best interests, civic, commercial, industrial, agricultural, health and education in the Hoagland area, through collaboration with other individuals and groups in Allen County, Indiana.
The HAAA hosts multiple fund-raisers throughout the year: Pancake & Sausage Breakfast, HAAA-HAAA Trivia Night, Hoagland Days and the Greater Hoagland Open Golf Outing. A Children’s Christmas party is held each December for children in the community, this is a free event. The Hoagland Community Center is available for rent as well. Proceeds made from each fundraiser and the rentals of the Hoagland Community Center currently go toward maintaining Hoagland Community Park.
The HAAA is a 501c3 organization made up completely of volunteers. A Board of Directors governs the HAAA. Any person may subscribe for membership in this organization by paying their annual dues each October.
