The village of Hoagland was established in 1872. Located along the original Wayne Trace in northeast Indiana it is just southeast of Fort Wayne, Indiana and just a hop, skip and a jump east of Highway 27. Its population is approximately 2000.<\/p>\n
The purpose of the Association is to encourage improvement and to develop and advance the best interests, civic, commercial, industrial, agricultural, health and education in the Hoagland area, through collaboration with other individuals and groups in Allen County, Indiana.<\/p>\n
The HAAA hosts multiple fund-raisers throughout the year: Pancake & Sausage Breakfast, HAAA-HAAA Trivia Night, Hoagland Days and\u00a0the Greater Hoagland Open Golf Outing.\u00a0\u00a0A Children\u2019s Christmas party is held each December for children in the community,\u00a0this is a free event. The Hoagland Community Center is available for rent as well. Proceeds made from each fundraiser and the rentals of the Hoagland Community Center\u00a0currently go toward maintaining Hoagland Community Park.<\/p>\n
The HAAA is a 501c3 organization made up completely of volunteers. A Board of Directors governs the HAAA.
